Why Praxiotic Exists

I started a company called Onepunch Technologies with a simple thesis: most software is built wrong, and the right tools could fix that. Not better processes. Not more developers. Better tools.
The idea was to build a platform that would let a small team deliver software with the correctness and speed that normally takes a department. Get the foundations right, encode the rules into the tooling, and knock out the project in one shot. Correct by construction. That was the “one punch.”
The name was a problem. Not because the thesis was wrong, but because nobody could hear “Onepunch” without thinking of the anime. Every first conversation started with “oh, like One Punch Man?” instead of “tell me about the technology.” When your brand is fighting your pitch, the brand has to go.
So: Praxiotic. From praxeology, the study of purposeful human action. The name says what the company actually does: effective action in software. Doing the right thing, correctly and efficiently. No cartoon associations required.
The thesis didn’t change. The target did.
The tools I was building were aimed at making software correct by construction. Stronger abstractions, better foundations, systems where entire categories of bugs are structurally impossible. That thesis is still right. What changed is where those tools need to point.
AI happened. Not the hype cycle, not the chatbot demos. The real shift: AI is now writing production code, making architectural decisions, and generating systems that humans have to trust and maintain. And the problems are exactly the ones I was already solving.
Hallucinations. Buggy generated code that looks right but isn’t. Token costs that scale with complexity in ways that make serious applications expensive to build and expensive to run. The industry is throwing more compute at problems that are fundamentally about correctness, not capacity.
The tools that make software correct by construction are the same tools that can make AI-generated software trustworthy. The platform I was building for human engineers is even more valuable as a platform for AI. The problems are harder, the stakes are higher, and the need is more urgent than anything I saw when I started.
What’s coming
I’m not going to lay out the full architecture here. The specific approach is the competitive advantage, and it stays close until it ships. But the direction is clear: Praxiotic is building tools that bring correctness guarantees to AI-driven software development. Less hallucination, less broken code, less waste.
